September’s prize in our monthly 'Refer a Friend' draw is a day sail on the Jubilee Sailing Trust’s Tall Ship 'Tenacious'

This is a fantastic opportunity to experience the thrill of adventure on a tall ship, have a go at crewing and helming, enjoy the teamwork of mucking in and sailing this amazing vessel, as well as enjoying the on-board cuisine.

We are delighted to be back exhibiting at the Southampton International Boat Show from September 10, promoting its increasing and unrivalled range of support services to the expanding sail and motor cruising community.

Come and visit experts from the CA’s Regulations and Technical group, otherwise known as 'RATS', at the Southampton Boat Show and get answers to your burning technical questions.

RATS are hosting drop-in Q&A sessions on both Saturdays, from 1300-1630 hours on 11 and 18 September, with volunteer committee members Robin Baron and Roger Bickerstaff on hand to answer your questions on all matters technical.

We are excited to be returning to the Southampton International Boat Show, 10-19 September 2021, and hosting a packed programme for its members, prospective members and those new to the world of sail and motor cruising.

The Cruising Association is delighted to announce the appointment of Luissa Smith (GBR) as its new Press and PR Manager.

Leading the internal and external PR, content and news communications functions for the Cruising Association, Luissa will support member and partner engagement, maintain communication channels to media, members and other stakeholders and promote the association’s comprehensive advocacy programmes.

Cowes Week 2021 marked the introduction of a new club cruiser racing division in partnership with the Cruising Association as presenting sponsor of the trophy.

From 31 July-6 August, twenty-one club cruiser teams tussled it out on the challenging Solent race track in a mix of conditions, with teams enjoying the thrill of starting off the iconic Royal Yacht Squadron.

Members of the Cruising Association and the Royal Institute of Navigation are set to benefit from a new mutual partnership offering a reciprocal 25% discount off annual membership.

CA members can take advantage of the discount for the upcoming membership year which runs until 30 June 2022 and for memberships activated between 1 July to 31 December 2021.
