Patricia Perraud, representing the town of Saint-Quay-Portrieux in North Brittany, France has become the latest supporter to join our worldwide community of Honorary Local Representatives (HLRs).
Patricia is the office manager at the full-service marina at Saint-Quay-Portrieux. The marina Port d’Armor, is a popular destination and passage port because of its attractions including all-tide, all-weather, 24/7 access as well as what it has to offer ashore. The marina is large (with some dedicated visitor berths), well organised, friendly and efficient, and modern with excellent facilities. The marina also hosts visitor attractions such as wine tastings and other “diversions”.
Patricia will be able to help and support CA members with many needs including advice on boat parts suppliers and repair organisations; local tourist attractions, shops and restaurants; transport such as buses and car hire. Patricia and other marina staff were central to the operation in 2022 which provided special dispensation for British visitors to check in and out of France at this marina.
Members can find out more about the services offered at Port Armour at www.port-armor.com/en.
Along with support and assistance from Patricia as the HLR, CA members can find nearby marine discount partners via CAptain’s Mate, or discount partners are also listed on the members’ website.
About Honorary Local Representatives
HLRs assist CA members in whatever way they can. They help with things like sourcing emergency repairs, finding moorings, securing visas, translations, explaining local customs and bureaucracy, provisioning, land transport and excursions. And if an HLR cannot help themselves, they will know someone who can. HLRs also keep us up to date with matters arising in their areas that might concern CA members.
Find out more about HLRs here, and members can find HLRs near to you via CAptain’s Mate.
