The first meeting of the Solent Section's winter programme will be held once again at The Waters Edge Restaurant, Mercury Marina, Hamble.

The fact that Gins Farm was billed as the last summer meet does not preclude another taking place in the autumn so here’s an opportunity to get together somewhere we haven’t been to for a while.

September Meet at Gins Farm, Beaulieu River Saturday 23rd September. from 14.00 hrs

This is our farewell Meet of the 2017 sailing season, when members can enjoy the hospitality of the Royal Southampton Yacht Club's Gins Farm Clubhouse, to exchange pleasantries and experiences cruising this summer, enjoy a 'splendiferous' dinner in a beautiful tranquil setting.

Solent Section 2017 Gins Farm Meet, Beaulieu River Meet 23^rd/24^th September

This late summer meet by courtesy of the Royal Southampton Yacht Club at Gins Farm on the Beaulieu River, one of the most attractive and least developed parts of the Solent. On Friday 22^nd some boats will meet first in Newtown Creek.

On Saturday 23^rd there will be drinks on the Pontoon at 1800 followed by a three course dinner with coffee at 1930 in the Clubhouse.

This is a joint rally between the Channel and the Solent Sections.
