Cowes Meet – Shepards Wharf - June 16-17

The booking form for this is now attached. We look forward to seeing you in Shepards Wharf Marina on Saturday 16 June, or the day before if you can make It then. There will no doubt be a gathering of some sort on the Friday evening, but this will be very much decided on the night. During the day on Saturday, we hope to organise a visit to the Classic Boat Museum’s Gallery in East Cowes, where there is currently a fascinating exhibition of ‘Heroes of the Isle of Wight’. The museum’s new premises at the Medina Yard are still a ‘work in progress’ and there are at present no boats on display. For those who fancy going further afield there is plenty else to see and do and we can recommend the day bus pass if you want to see more of the island than Cowes and its environment.

On the Saturday evening there will be a pontoon reception before we go off to the Duke of York Hotel for dinner – menu choices will be circulated to rally entrants. Depending on the dinner menu cost, we anticipate a charge of no more than £20 per head to include the Saturday pontoon reception and dinner. This will be confirmed nearer the date. Please remember that you are responsible for paying your own marina fees – and don’t forget that you must ask for the 5% rally discount when paying - it cannot be refunded later!
