 We are pleased to have Dennis Knight giving his experiences which he has called ‘Highlights of the Pacific’ 

Dennis and Janet spent many years circumnavigating the world and in this talk Dennis will recount some of their experiences in that ocean and its myriad islands.

Just the thing for a winter evening, maybe with snow and ice thrown in.

Solent Section's first meeting on its 2016-17 Winter Programme

Friday October 21 - 'Where did you get to last summer?' - members' presentations of their summer cruising at the Waters Edge Restaurant Mercury Yacht Harbour in Hamble. We hope for a wide and varied selection.

A booking form with further details is attached and we do hope that you will join us.

Saturday 17th September at Gins Farm, Beaulieu River

The last summer meet of 2016 courtesy of the Royal Southampton Yacht Club at Gins Farm on the Beaulieu River, one of the most attractive and least developed parts of the Solent.

On Friday 16th some boats will muster in Newtown Creek. If coming please let either Alec or Tim know.

On Saturday 17^th Cate and Alec request the pleasure of your company for a Sharpener on the Pontoon beside Yo Ho Ho at 1800.

A three course dinner with coffee at 1930 in the Clubhouse - cost of £24.50 per head.
