A CA members web seminar for those planning or worrying about a Channel Crossing. We will start with a presentation on a first Channel Crossing and then have a panel discussion on questions raised by members during the web seminar and any provided in advance.
With the introduction of the EU EES now delayed to after summer 2023 this web seminar will describe the processes for entry and exit of the UK, France and the Channel Islands along the Channel coast.
It will set out the details of the UK "small Pleasure Craft Report" system and the "official" and "preavis" forms for France via ports of entry (PPFs) and some other French ports.
Much changed this year in the paperwork processes for crossing the Channel to France.
In this webinar, being broadcast via Zoom, we will look back at how the changes were implemented and why, provide an overview of the experiences we shared of these processes, and remind ourselves that further changes will take place next year.
At the end there will be chance to share further your stories from this year and ask questions.
The 25th British Fireworks Championship took place at Plymouth over two nights, 17-18 August, which, following last year’s successful rally gave the excuse for CA members to hold a meet-up.
You are invited to our annual one-day seminar for CA members and non-members interested in cruising in the Channel area whether they are experienced or not.
