Normally at this time of year we hold a full day seminar at CA House to bring together Channel Section members for some presentations in a sociable atmosphere. However, for 2022 we have changed our plan to offering two half day sessions presenting some of the topics that would have been in the seminar.

A rally in Plymouth to view the spectacular British Fireworks Championship.

Other "attractions" will include pontoon drinks, dinner and a walk.

Portsmouth QHM manages not just Portsmouth Harbour but a large sea area in the eastern Solent approximately by bounded Hill Head and Castle Point to the west, and Southsea and Sandown Bay to the east. With the movements of naval vessels, Isle of Wight ferries, cross-Channel ferries, cargo vessels, fishing boats, and the Gosport ferry the harbour can be very busy even before we count pleasure craft visiting numerous different marinas plus other moorings.
