He takes us through Zebrugge to Brussels and then north to Antwerp and on via the masthead route through the Netherlands taking in Dortdrecht and Amsterdam. If you have not yet crossed the North Sea and ventured into the inland waterways then you are missing out on some excellent sailing areas…….

The Suffolk, Essex, and Kent Sections invite you to celebrate the start of the Sailing Season in true CA style with an informal rally, featuring some cruising, some gentle competition, some activities ashore, some entertainment, and to eat, drink and yarn with friends old and new. 

There will be a passage “race” based on predicting your Estimated Time of Arrival at the RHYC. Details with the Joining Pack.

The Moody Story

David Moody is one of the 6th generation of Moodys to have run the family business and has worked for the company for over 40 years, until the date of its sale in December 2005. His niche area was new boat development, sales and marketing.

His talk supports the book 'The Moody Legacy', which covers the complete story of the company's development over some 175 years. The book and the talk contain many period photographs including yachts built by the company or bearing their name.
