He takes us through Zebrugge to Brussels and then north to Antwerp and on via the masthead route through the Netherlands taking in Dortdrecht and Amsterdam. The Suffolk, Essex, and Kent Sections invite you to celebrate the start of the Sailing Season in true CA style with an informal rally, featuring some cruising, some gentle competition, some activities ashore, some entertainment, and to eat, drink and yarn with friends old and new.

It is suitable both for sailors and anyone interested in the less well known issues of safety at sea. 

What the modern ocean passage maker needs to know by Richard Falk. RYA Training Manager.   Among many sailors there is a misconception that an ocean crossing is a little like a channel crossing, only longer. Nothing could be further from the truth. This talk is designed to give an overview of all of the elements involved in ocean passage making on a sailing vessel, with particular emphasis on the impact of developments over the last 10 or 15 years and how they can be used to assist.
