He has sailed over 22,000 miles in the Baltic, South Coast of England, USA and recently completed a three year cruise from Plymouth to Corfu, very slowly. Veramara to Iceland, by Barry Woodhouse

Date:
Wed, 09/02/2011 - 19:00 to 22:00

In 2006, Barry set out on a voyage from Portland to Iceland and back on a trip instigated by a meet in Reykjavik of the Royal Cruising Club, to celebrate Lord Dufferin’s famous voyage to Iceland 150 years previously. Barry cruised around the island before returning, and sailed single handed part of the way. Those who heard his talk a couple of years ago on sailing through Russia will eagerly anticipate his return!
