The Baltic Seminar has been postponed due to concerns with Covid-19.  The new date is Friday 1st April - which see.

Norway Information Session.  CA House.   1230 for lunch.  Session starts at 1400 and will end at approx. 1700.

Meet our HLRs Part 3

An opportunity to meet and ask questions of some of our Baltic HLRs.  There will be up to four involved in this session each from a different part of the Baltic.   The names involved will be advised at a later date but will include HLRs from Finland and Russia.

This will be a virtual meeting using Zoom.  CA members only - admission free.   Meeting commences at 1830.

An opportunity to meet and ask questions of some of our Baltic HLRs.  There will be four involved in this session each from a different part of the Baltic.   On this evening we will be joined by Antje Henschel (Stralsund, Germany), Birgir Enni (Torshavn, Faroe Islands), Vibeke Jonsen (Copenhagen, Denmark) and Peter Rohl (Kalmar, Sweden).

Saturday 6th March 2021.  1430 to approx 1630.  Sweden Virtual Information Session. 

Saturday 13th February 2021.  1430 to approx. 1630.  Germany Virtual Information Session.

On this day you can learn all about the practicalities of cruising in Germany and view some of the sights.  Main presenter will be Nicholas Hill, current author of the Cruising Guide to Baltic Germany, supported by Kuba Szymanski and Keith Churchward both with good knowledge of sailing in Germany.

Tommaso de Rosa covering Sweden’s High Coast area

Learn all about the practicalities of cruising in Norway - and view some of the spectacular scenery.

Saturday 21st November 2020.  1430 to approx 1630.  This will be a virtual event entirely by Zoom i.e. there will be no physical meeting at CA House.

Presenters:  Howard Steen (current author of the CA Cruising Guide to Norway), James Yarrow, Vicky Platt and Hans Jakob Valderhaug.

This event is free of charge to CA members.   Non-members £12 (payable by bank transfer).  The fee will be refundable for anyone joining CA shortly after the VIS.

Baltic Section Rally - Denmark 2020.  Planned dates were  - 7th to 15th June.   Due to the coronavirus Denmark will be closed to tourists until the end of August 2020 and it has regretfully been necessary to cancel this event.  All those who had booked have been informed.
