Saturday 7th March 2020 – Baltic Information Day - Iceland, Greenland, Faroes, Jan Mayen

Have you thought about a great exploration? Whether you are intending to sail to these northern waters and want to learn all you need to know or would like to enjoy seeing nature in it’s raw beauty but from the comfort of a chair in CA's Assembly Room - this is the day for you. Michael Henderson has been exploring and gathering information in this area for a number of years. He is the author of the CA Guide - said by those who have used it to be the best Guide to the area. Michael has been awarded the CA's Brittain Cup in recognition of his work in gathering and producing information on this whole area. He will be joined on the Information Day by other knowledgeable arctic sailors Helen Gould (who has sailed with him on at least two voyages to Greenland) and Alasdair Flint.

This event will include a briefing for the Denmark 2020 rally.

Admission to the day - CA members – no charge for the day (but there will be a charge of £14.50 for the buffet lunch if required – payable in advance).

Non CA members - £15 admission (plus a charge of £14.50 for the buffet lunch if required – payable in advance).
