Baltic

The 2016 Rally will again be a cruise-in-company starting in Ystad (southern Sweden) on 12^th June and arriving in Kalmar just before midsummer.  Plans are to visit Simrishamn, Hanö, Karlskrona, Utklippan, Kristianopel on the way (weather permitting).

Baltic Seminar – A whole day event including presentations on Baltic sailing, country-specific stalls, bring and buy sale of charts and nautical equipment - a must for those going to the Baltic for the first time or anyone wishing to explore further. Buffet lunch included.

Baltic Section Social Evening and Rallies Reunion

Date: Friday 4th December, 7pm

An opportunity to meet up again with friends made in Rügen this year or at any of the Baltic Rallies over the past years. Bar meals available. Everyone welcome – this is an evening for all members and their friends, not confined to rallygoers.

Charles Erb will tell us how you can explore the Stockholm archipelago in your own boat and still have full time employment and children in school. But - he has a trailer-sailer which he towed out to Sweden so was able to have a sailing holiday without taking more time than "holidays" allowed.  Charles came to our Seminar and was encouraged both by what he learned from the presentations and from talking to other folk – which all helped give him the confidence to take on his adventure. 

“Rügen 2015” the 2015 Baltic Rally – 5^th to 12^th July 2015.  This will be a cruise-in-company in the sheltered waters around Rügen (Germany) starting in Stralsund and ending in Swinoujscie in Poland. The 2015 Rally will be led by Nicholas Hill..  If you are interested please contact the Section Secretaries – download a registration form now.
