Over 100 members have joined the European Inland Waterways Section in the last year and this is a wonderful opportunity for old and new to meet and enjoy the hospitality at the Cruising Association and, of course, we'll be very glad to welcome non-members to the seminar. The programme has been designed to suit cruisers venturing into Europe for the first time as well as updating those who have been cruising the waterways for years.

We are holding a one-day seminar for CA members and non-members interested in cruising the European Inland Waterways. The programme is designed both for experienced users and for those contemplating exploring these fascinating waterways for the first time.

There will be presentations on each of the four popular countries, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. Speakers will describe the pros and cons of visiting each country along with an up-to-date explanation of the situation there. Presentations will be short with plenty of time for discussion.

This year’s Annual Seminar and Lunch will include presentations on Using Technology while Afloat; Cruising Through Germany to Norway; Boating in Europe after Brexit

The annual European Inland Waterways Seminar is a must-do event for those cruising, or planning to cruise, the Inland Waterways of Europe. It will provide a great opportunity to meet friends old and new and to hear a range of talks that will entertain and inform.
