The Cruising Association releases 2025 edition of flagship European Inland Waterways Guide

The Cruising Association (CA) has released the 2025 edition of Cruising the Inland Waterways of France and Belgium, its flagship and longest-established inland waterways cruising guide.

Now in its 29th edition, this essential guide has been expanded to include maps of every waterway in France and Belgium, with updated information on over 250 mooring locations.

Firmly established as one of the most comprehensive resources for inland waterways cruising in France and Belgium, the guide is updated annually by members of the CA’s European Inland Waterways Section (EIWS), who actively cruise the waterways. This first-hand knowledge and practical advice ensure the guide remains more up to date than other publications. Alongside detailed coverage for France and Belgium, the guide also includes information on marina and quay mooring options in Luxembourg.

In an extensive introduction and information section, the guide explains the character of the various waterways; the challenges to overcome; the equipment needed; licences and regulations; sources of further information; 'rules of the road' and many other items of interest. Maps and details of distances, moorings and other facilities are provided for nearly 100 inland waterways open to navigation by cruising boats.

This 2025 edition, with 278 pages in full colour, includes a full index in addition to a waterways index.
