Blue Water Talk & Lunch will be held at CA House, Limehouse on Sunday 3rd March with coffee, tea and biscuits at 10:30.  Fellow members Anne & Michael have agreed to join me as Joint Section Secretaries and they are giving an illustrated talk about their sailing career and the how,  whys, and wherefores they prepared for their circumnavigation and where they are presently. 

 Sunday Talk & Lunch  -  August 19th at CA House, Limehouse, London.

 A 10:30 start with coffee, tea & biscuits and talk, An Atlantic Circuit , commencing at 11:00 .

 The bar will be open for drinks afterwards followed by a cold buffet lunch to be served at approxmately 13:00

 The cost is £20 for CA Members and £25 for guests/non-members (includes early tea and coffee & lunch)

This seminar brings together CA members who have experienced near catastrophic events at sea, endangering their yacht and crew and who resolved the issues with limited resources that enabled them to get the crew to safety.

Vyv Cox, metallurgist and engineer will provide advice on the dangers of fatigue and corrosion on vital yacht components and ways to reduce the possibility of failure.
