This year we have been unable to hold the Flag Officers’ Lunch and the Hanson Lecture when the Annual Awards and Log Winners would have been presented with their trophies. Mike Golding has kindly agreed to come to a luncheon at CA house and make the presentations.

The Cruising Association is delighted to announce the appointment of Luissa Smith (GBR) as its new Press and PR Manager.
Leading the internal and external PR, content and news communications functions for the Cruising Association, Luissa will support member and partner engagement, maintain communication channels to media, members and other stakeholders and promote the association’s comprehensive advocacy programmes.
Cowes Week 2021 marked the introduction of a new club cruiser racing division in partnership with the Cruising Association as presenting sponsor of the trophy.
From 31 July-6 August, twenty-one club cruiser teams tussled it out on the challenging Solent race track in a mix of conditions, with teams enjoying the thrill of starting off the iconic Royal Yacht Squadron.
Members of the Cruising Association and the Royal Institute of Navigation are set to benefit from a new mutual partnership offering a reciprocal 25% discount off annual membership.
CA members can take advantage of the discount for the upcoming membership year which runs until 30 June 2022 and for memberships activated between 1 July to 31 December 2021.
Our Mobile App is provided to allow Association members to share facts and opinions about places they visit, and to share their positions with each other while cruising.
