Past editor of Cruising and still a columnist, Cathy will reveal all about her and Richard's trip through the Caledonian Canal to the Western Isles, their adventures, and encounters en route, with a liberal sprinkling of humour.
The talk will also cover their migration from sail to power. Having sailed - cruising and racing - on the East Coast and beyond throughout their working lives, they enjoyed retirement cruising further afield before unexpected good fortune (“it could be you") opened new opportunities, and then Covid lockdown changed everything again.
