The new version of the CAptain's Mate app is on its way and there will also be changes to the Cruising Reports on the website (which up until now has displayed the same content in a different way) such that you'll have a consistent display of the information between the app and the website.
Although we don't yet have a release date as some parts of the process of its release are outside of our direct control, we'll be broadcasting a webinar to do a full demonstration of the new mobile app as well as the web app.
If, by the time of the broadcast, the app has been released and has updated on your device, we recommend that you explore it, read the article in December's Cruising covering key features as well as the help page (which will be published the day the app is released) which includes full details of how the app works.
There will be a Q&A session at the end of the webinar. If you have any questions, it would be helpful if you could email them in advance to office@theca.org.uk so that we can either ensure the answers are covered in the demonstration or have the answers prepared. We will of course, where time allows, also answer questions submitted during the broadcast in the Q&A session.
