A Prize will be awarded for Best Picture. Also images will be considered by Imray as a cover photograph for the CA Almanac and, if selected, the photographer will receive a free 2021 Almanac as their reward.
The audience on Zoom for the Near and Far meeting on Saturday 27th February 2021 will be asked to vote for the Best Picture.
RULES
- The Competition is only open to RHYC and CA Members.
- There is one class “Boating”.
- Maximum of three entries per person.
- Entries limited to jpg digital images.
- The competition organiser will select the best six photos from the entries received. The audience at the Near and Far meeting in February will be asked to vote for the Best Picture from these six entries.
- The identity of the person submitting an entry will not be disclosed to the audience before voting is complete.
- The choice by the competition organiser, the results of the audience voting and decisions of Imray, Laurie, Norie & Wilson Ltd will be final.
- By entering the competition members agree to their images being used in Cruising Association, Royal Harwich Yacht Club and/or Imray, Laurie, Norie & Wilson Ltd publications and publicity material, free of charge, and confirm that they have any necessary permissions regarding use of the image.
- Entries will be passed to Imray, Laurie, Norie & Wilson Ltd for consideration for use on the cover of The Cruising Almanac.
- A Prize will be awarded for the Best Picture and also for any image selected for use by Imray Laurie Norie & Wilson Ltd.
ENTRIES
- There is no entry fee.
- The closing date for entries is midnight on 31st January 2021.
- Please use the highest possible resolution for entries to facilitate reproduction in CA, RHYC and Imray, Laurie, Norie & Wilson Ltd publications.
- Remember please, entries to be submitted only in jpg format.
- Entries should be by email attachment to .
- The email should include a photo caption, your name and your CA Membership number: find under My Account on the CA Members website.
- The six best entries selected by competition organsier will be shared on Zoom during the Near and Far meeting on 27th February 2021 when the voting for Best Picture will be conducted and the winner announced.
