Friday December 6 - Christmas Social Evening

Dear Member,

Last Friday we enjoyed some excellent presentations ranged across the world, with accounts of a transatlantic crossing and a circumnavigation of Tasmania, as well as extensive European cruises. This will be reported on more fully in a future newsletter.

In the meantime, our Christmas Dinner on Friday 6 December is fast approaching and the booking form and menu are attached. You will only need to choose your main course as the starters and desserts are a trio of three small portions of the items listed, unless you prefer the vegetarian starter. We hope you will approve.

Our speaker this year is Bill Munt, one of the team running the Alison MacGregor, the motor catamaran operating from Hythe Marina providing trips for the elderly . As we said before, Bill has a wicked sense of humour and we look forward to hearing what goes on. Do come and join us to get the Christmas spirit moving.

As announced there will be a 'Secret Santa', and for this we ask each couple or single attendee to bring a small wrapped gift worth no more than £6 to go into the draw and wait to see what they get out.
