It might be winter but you can look forward to next season’s sailing, whether you’re a crew member looking to build your hours or just enjoy cruising to different places on different boats or you’re a skipper looking for crew, by coming along to the November Crewing Service meeting.
Before you commit to sharing a boat with someone you’ve never met before, enjoying a Crewing Service evening at CA House to allows you to meet, plan, listen to other people’s experiences and take the next step to cruising further.
Skippers are asked to talk about their past season and what they have planned for the next one and crew can then chat to skippers whose trips are of interest to them.
So, if you want to build your hours or just enjoy cruising to different places on different boats, or you are you a skipper looking for extra crew, then a CA Crewing Service meeting is the place to be. Not only can you meet crew and skippers alike but you can also enjoy a drink and a meal while talking about your favourite hobby – boating.
You don’t need to book to come along to any Crewing Service meeting; just turn up for this chance to plan next season’s sailing opportunities. Meetings start at 19:00, and the bar will be open and food available from 18:30.
