RALLY ASTURIAS 2017

RALLY ASTURIAS JUNE 17TH - JULY 1ST 

Last year we held our first Rally in Northern Spain and this was very much enjoyed by the participants, some of whom were on their way towards the Med, others sailed there just for the experience. Javier Moreno de la Vallina, our HLR in Asturias has put together an interesting programme of visits to provide rally participants with an introduction to Asturias and its culture. The Rally will begin at the Puerto Deportivo Gihón and end at the Puerto Deportivo, Ribadeo. Ribadeo is a short sail from Viviero, the first of the Rias. Reception at the Town Hall of Gijón.

Welcome lunch at the Real Club Astur de Regata with the President and Office Manager as our guests.

Visit to the Old Town and the Roman Baths (Gijón)

Visit to the biggest cider farm of Asturias followed by lunch of local food.

Visit Oviedo (Old Town and Cathedral).

Visit to Sanctuary of Covadonga, Lakes and Picos de Europa.

Visit Luanco Maritime Museum.

Visit Avilés (Old Town and Niemeyer Museum).

Visit Ribadeo and explore the coastal paths.

Farewell dinner in Ribadeo with the President of Real Club Nautico de Ribadeo as our guest.
