A great chance for you to meet up and socialize with old and new friends and discuss your plans for this summer’s sailing. The meeting at CA House will start at 18:45 when we will have the usual, very brief, Section meeting to update on latest news etc.
Then at 19:15 Philip and Janet Milln will give a talk entitled:-
The 'Highs and Lows’ of sailing in Turkey
Janet and Philip will tell us about their experiences of sailing in Turkey on their yacht Hamble Warrior. They have been sailing their Warrior 40 around the Mediterranean since 2003. Despite visiting many countries they returned to Turkey four years ago as it was their favoured cruising ground. They would like to share what attracts them to this area as well as some cautionary tales and experiences.
Pre-booking Supper
As usual, participants will be able to order supper, payable at the bar, to eat after the talk at approximately 20:15, or before if you are really early ie 18.00. To help determine the numbers to cater for, Agnieszka will give a 5% discount to those that indicate they would like supper in advance of the meeting.
