A View to Cruising Seminar

A View to Cruising Seminar, 25 October 2014

A seminar for boat owners considering taking two to four months away cruising, but who wonder about the practical aspects of such a venture.

At the heart of the event is the Cruising Association ethic of “Sharing information”. The speakers all have different approaches to this type of cruising and are encouraged to convey their experience and enjoyment of the life within the overall theme, even if this leads to some duplication and conflicting advice.

There is no intention to be proscriptive, but to share hard-won experience.

The day will not be about Blue Water, long distance voyages, but the more modest sort of cruising that many choose to undertake, nor is it about “how to sail”.

Whilst not covering specific cruising areas such as the UK, near continent, Med. or Baltic, the day may touch on them to illustrate particular points.

The booking form is attached below. We are trialing email booking and payment for events this year. Please use the "Word" Booking Form attachment if you prefer to use this method. Otherwise'phone or write to Kathryn at the RHYC as normal. Please ensure that any online bank transfers clearly identify your name and "CA" as reference as these are not always decipherable from email addresses and bank transfers.
