Our patron Sir Robin Knox-Johnson was spotted looking suave and relaxed at the foot of Tower Bridge as the Clipper Yachts were leaving St. Katherine’s Dock for the start of their “Adventure of a Lifetime” on Sunday 1st September.
On this lovely sunny Sunday, twelve 70ft. yachts gathered on the River Thames for their final parade before crowds of well-wishers before processing down river for the official start of the 40,000nm race around the world off Southend on Monday 2nd.
