Trafalgar Night dinner at CA House
This year we are once again holding a dinner at CA House to commemorate Trafalgar Night. Make a date in your diary for Friday 25 October.
Our after dinner speaker is Lt Commander Peter Johnson RN (Rtd). Peter spent 22 years in the Royal Navy, joining after a spell of teaching maths and science. He volunteered to train as a meteorologist and oceanographer, and for 12 years – mostly in the cold war- spent his time forecasting aviation and maritime weather and anti-submarine conditions – at sea, in air stations, underground and abroad .
Later, he took a masters degree in Design of Information Systems and embarked on a third career in project and programme management, initially in IT and business change.
