European Inland Waterways Section Autumn Lunch and Get-Together

The programme for the Autumn Meeting at CA House on Saturday 30 November is attached.

It should be an enjoyable and instructive day, with plenty of time to meet old friends and new members. We start with a focus on Eastern Europe, which may inspire you to venture there, or at least enjoy the dream. We will also have a short discussion on the Section, cruising reports and the website - and announce the results of the photographic competition (see details below).

After one of Agnieszka's excellent lunches, we will set up our usual "tables of expertise" manned by members with relevant knowledge of cruising areas and specialist topics. We are also having an experminental "bring and buy" sale - do bring anything you think will be of interest to other members.

Digital Photo Competition
Send us your photos, illustrating any aspect of European inland waterways life. Entries will be independently judged in advance and displayed on the overhead projector at the meeting. All members of EIWS may enter the competition (whether attending or not). The results will be published in an Autumn Newsletter.

Entry photos, which may be used in CA publications, should be attached to emails sent to european_inland_waterways@cruising.org.uk by the 23 November.
