After the success of our first Safety Day at Ocean Safety in Southampton, we will be running a second one, this time at their Plymouth Centre. This again will be FREE for CA members and their guests and will be held on November 24.

The day will include talks on:
- Man Overboard (identifying different methods of recovery/ the importance of having a plan)
- EPIRBs (Different types of beacons/ beacon integration)
- Liferafts (the differences between different types of liferafts/ what’s in the kit contents/ what to pack in a grab bag)
- Lifejackets (AIS integration/ how to initiate self-checks on your lifejackets/lifejacket inflations)
There will be the option to book your liferaft and lifejackets in for servicing, as well as a flare amnesty (free for those purchasing new flares or the first 3 hand flares will be free to dispose of if no purchase is made).
A discount of up to 30% on Ocean Safety products will also be available to members on the day.
