The Yacht Broker: How it Works, Hugh Rayner

If you have a boat, then the likelihood is that you bought it, and you may even have used a Broker... But what does a Broker actually do, (and should you use one for buying and selling a boat), and are they really all Ken Masters soundalikes? (a brief Howard's Way reference for those of a certain age...) We will run through the process, the pitfalls, the good (and the bad) and definitely the ugly. Everything from what the role of the Broker is, and how this relates to marketing, buying & selling of motor-yachts in particular. No holds barred; so we will hopefully breach title, contracts and all those thorny questions which revolve around this particular profession, in relation to turning to "The Dark Side".
