A Zoom meeting for Mediterranean cruisers to exchange information, advice and pitfalls about purchasing chandlery in the EU, including details of recommended chandleries.
This has become a hot topic as importing goods from the UK post-Brexit is expensive, time consuming, and sometimes seemingly subject to the whims of customs officials. While some continue to import most people are now looking to source their chandlery of all sorts in the EU itself. This is an opportunity to share positive and negative experiences, and exchange details of "the good, the bad and the ugly" chandleries both via direct and online purchasing. Any recommended chandleries will then be posted on MedNet.
