Our AGM will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 6.30pm.
Format of AGM
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic situation, Council has decided that the 2020 AGM will not be held at CA House but will instead take place as a virtual AGM. Please note that if you wish to attend the AGM you will need to register in advance to do so. Formal Notice of the AGM, the AGM booklet (including the AGM papers and the 2020 accounts) and the voting form together with details of how to register to attend the AGM on November 18 will be sent to members and published on the website in due course.
Members will be able to vote on the AGM resolutions by completing and submitting a voting form in advance, either by post or electronically, and submitting it by Monday, November 16 at 6.30pm. There will be no voting at the meeting. Members will also be able to submit questions electronically on the business of the meeting. If received by Monday, November 16 these will be answered at the meeting.
Nominations
Any member, except an Honorary member or a Crewing Service member, is eligible to stand for election. A nomination must include:
- the name of the nominee
- the names of the proposer and seconder, both of whom must be members
- the nominee’s written agreement to stand for election
This Notice is by Order of Council and it is in accordance with Section 19 of the Articles of Association and Company Law.
