Details: This is a one day course held in a classroom and a swimming pool. You will learn about and handle safety equipment. You will learn how to use it in an emergency. This has two elements. It starts at 9.30am with a classroom based course. There you will learn about crucial safety equipment, flares, life-rafts, distress beacons, lifejackets. You will learn the use of and operation of them and actually have the opportunity to examine the equipment at close quarters.

Details: The Day Skipper theory course is ideal for someone interested in learning how to sail or for someone that knows how to sail already but hasn't really done any navigation. This is a shore based course, so all the lessons will be carried out in CA House. The course equips you with enough knowledge to navigate around familiar waters by day.
