Our AGM will be held at CA House, on Wednesday 13 November 2024, at 6.30pm
The nomination of any candidate who is willing to stand for Council membership should be submitted either by letter or email to the Company Secretary at CA House (members need to be logged in to see contact email address) (cosec@theca.org.uk), before Tuesday 1 October 2024.
Any member, except an Honorary member or a Crewing Service member, is eligible to stand for election. A nomination must include:
- the name of the nominee,
- the names of the proposer and seconder, both of whom must be members,
- the nominee’s written agreement to stand for election.
The nominee’s proposer and seconder must also confirm by letter or email to the Company Secretary at CA House (cosec@theca.org.uk), before Tuesday 1 October 2024, that they are willing to act in that capacity for the nominee.
This Notice is by Order of Council and it is in accordance with Section 19 of the Articles of Association and Company Law.
The Articles of Association provide full information concerning nominations and can be found at www.theca.org.uk/about/organisation or sent to members by the General Manager upon request.
AGM papers are now available (22 October 2024). Members will need to be logged in to see the AGM papers, and booking links to attend the AGM in person or join via Zoom, below.
Members can attend the AGM in person and the meeting will also be broadcast via Zoom. Members attending via Zoom will also be able to vote electronically at the meeting. Further information on this is set out below.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from the Cruising Association containing information about joining the webinar.
Separately, you will receive an email from Mi-Voice our chosen e-voting provider. This will be sent to you several days before the meeting and will set out instructions on how to vote electronically at the meeting. You will be able to have a test vote prior to the day of the meeting.
