Essex Section Supper & Talk: Kent & Essex Inshore Fisheries Conservation

You pay £13 (Members) £15 (Non members) for a splendid two-course dinner with coffee at our regular, evening meetings.
We welcome Rob Dyer and Colm O’Laoi from the Kent and Essex Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority.
Rob is the Lead Scientific & Conservation Officer and Colm skippers one of the boats based at Brightlingsea.
The Authority's role is to lead, champion and manage a sustainable marine environment and inshore fisheries, by successfully securing the right balance between social, environmental and economic benefits to ensure healthy seas, sustainable fisheries and a viable industry. To cover the Thames Kent and Essex IFCA have two bases one at Brightlingsea and the other at Ramsgate.
Alternatively, just turn up an hour later for the presentation and pay £3 per person if you are a CA member or £5 if you are not.
The evening starts at 7pm with the dinner. The talk begins at 8pm and will finish by 10pm.
There is plenty of parking space.
As usual the bar will be available. Please note that the CA now need to subsidise the bar if the takings are not sufficient to cover the cost of opening it so attendees are encouraged to make make full use of the facilities.
