The RNLI Then and Now

This is the first of the 2013/2014 winter talks run jointly between the CA Suffolk section and the Royal Harwich Yacht Club.

Steven is the coxswain of the Aldeburgh lifeboat, a highly responsible job, in charge of a lifeboat sited on one of the most hazardous stretches of coast around the British Isles. The Aldeburgh lifeboats have been involved in many heroic rescue missions over the years, leading to the award of several medals for bravery. This should be a fascinating evening. Expect some collecting boxes to be rattled.

Bar open 18:00, Meal at 18:45, Talk 20:00
