Biscay Section 2012 Rally

After the warm welcome that the marina team at Locmiquelic gave to those of us who attended the 2011 Rendez-vous, we decided to Rally here in 2012, as this would be a convenient port for those who are making their way from the UK. Graham Collins, who is the rally organiser, has planned a programme that will enable participants to explore the River Blavet, visit L'Ile de Groix and weather permitting, the Etel River, where boats are guided in by the pilot from the semaphore station. The plan is for the boats to return to Locmiquelic most nights. The towns on the Lorient Estuary may be visited using the ferry service. There are museums at Port Louis and Lorient. The Rally dinner on Friday evening will be at the Cargo restaurant, which overlooks the bay. Last year we had a very good meal there. All CA members are welcome to join the Biscay Section 2012 Rally.
