Paul and Rachel’s story of survival is known to almost all sailors from the articles and interviews in the media, during this talk we will hear about it from both of them. Their unique experience, how they dealt with their situation and the resilience of their relationship. It is a tale with its share of horrors but the warmth and humanity of this couple, the endless capacity of humans to do good and the determination of those who worked for their release will be told in full. Paul and Rachel will have copies of their book available and are happy to sign copies already bought.
This event will include an excellent lunch provided by the ladies of the Totnes Boating Ass. It will be open to CA members, Totnes BA members and we will invite members of local yacht clubs as well.
