Thinking of heading to the Mediterranean? Join us as we discuss just a few of the tasks that may need to be on your Med sailing checklist! Topics to be covered will include legal requirements such as visas and customs requirements, logistical considerations including selecting ports, obtaining charts, finding accurate local weather sources and many more. We will also touch on timing your visit to get the best anchorages with the least amount of crowding as well as the best weather and finally we cover a list of the considerations relating to the boat itself from provisioning to sun protection.
The broadcast will be approximately one hour with a talk of about 40 minutes followed by a 20 minute Q&A session.
