Those members in NSW will be pleased to know that Paul (Hardcastle) is willing to organise another lunchtime gathering, this time at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club (RPAYC), Newport 2016, on  Sunday  APRIL 18th  from midday.

               

Any members who may be in the area on the day will be very welcome.

Lunch at the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron, hosted by Terry Clarke, will be going ahead. At the moment ONE table of ten has been allowed so it will be first come first served.

More may be allowed nearer the time so Paul will keep a ‘reserved’ list – we live in hope!!!

Held at Sandringham Yacht Club, Members’ Bar - the Annual Luncheon of Antipodean Section, Melbourne Branch will be attended by our special guest, Jeanne Socrates and will take place from 1200 hours on Sunday 15 March 2020.  Jeanne is the oldest person to sail solo non-stop unassisted eastabout around the world, and, the first woman to sail solo non-stop unassisted around the world from North America.

NSW Christmas Luncheon

The Antipodean NSW Christmas luncheon which will begin with a presentation and tour of the premises and boats at the Marine Rescue Centre at The Spit, Middle Harbour and members living in or near Sydney, or members visiting Australia and in the area are invited to come along to enjoy the festivities .

Antipodean Meet in Brisbane

Suzie and John (area HLRs) have joined forces and organised a lunchtime meet in Brisbane. All CA members welcome, arriving by any means, if you happen to be on holiday in the area what an opportunity to meet the locals!

A range of good casual dinning is available (possible use of BBQ) in the club and of course there is a bar! Plenty of parking outside the club and non-members are able to sign in at the door.

NSW members get-together, 20th March

We are trying to organise a get together on Sunday 20th March at the Royal Yacht Squadron in Sydney (subject to confirmation), for NSW members of the Cruising Association, before many of you head north for the northern summer as we will be doing in April.  I have asked CA liaison members in the other States to consider doing the same, perhaps even on the same day.

I would be grateful to receive an indication from you whether you will be able to attend so that we can address numbers for a venue booking.
