Cruising in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, by Gus Wilson
In the summer months, the Atlantic Coast of Nova Scotia and the south coast of Newfoundland make a wonderful cruising ground, with many anchorages, colourful villages, the diverse city of Halifax, and the remarkable warmth and peace of the huge Bras d'Or Lakes in Cape Breton. Costs for food and marinas are modest and it is easy to find anchorages with no other boats. Whales abound, and lobster pots do not.

Heavy weather Atlantic sailing, ghosting through flat seas, anchoring off sandy beaches, swimming, marinas, islands with ruins, islands with villages, tapas bars, seafood, local wines, undreamed of prices, walking inland, driving inland, Mediterranean temperatures in the day, cool at night, rain, fog - the Spanish Rias have it all, with easy access from the UK.
The Society Islands: A Pacific Paradise, by Paul Brown
In March 2016, the crew of Little Wing willingly abandoned the cold, rainy days of boat maintenance and instead took a bus, train, three planes and a truck to arrive at the Society Islands in French Polynesia for a sailing charter. Paul and family were able to enjoy two weeks of cruising around this Pacific paradise, exploring the islands of Raiatea, Tahaa, Bora Bora and Huahine, and the numerous small islands and motus found within the lagoons of these reef-enclosed islands.

Since leaving Guernsey in 2008, together that have sailed some 60,000 nm including six ocean crossings, wherever possible choosing the route less travelled, including Cocos Keeling, the Chagos archipelago and the Atlantic coast of Morocco.
Living the Dream, by Clare Harrison and Victor Farhi
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bow lines, sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." Attributed to H Jackson Brown.
